Ski Swap privacy
Snow Trails Ski Patrol Swap uses seller contact details, including name, email, phone number, and address, to register sellers, organize item pickup, and handle payouts. We store listings, their photos, swap agreements, sales and settlement records, notification preferences, and security logs.
Sign-in and the iPhone app
If you choose a connected sign-in provider, we use its account identifier and available basic identity details. Provider identifiers are stored as hashes. For Sign in with Apple, an encrypted refresh token is retained so its authorization can be revoked when you delete your account. Passwords are stored as hashes. App access tokens are stored as hashes on the server and in the iPhone Keychain on your device.
What is shared
Public listings show item details, prices, and photos. Seller phone numbers, addresses, private staff notes, and financial records are not part of the public catalog. Swap staff can access seller information needed to operate the event. Hosting, email, and the sign-in provider you select process data needed to deliver those services.
Your choices
In-app reports and seller blocks are linked to your account. Staff use reports to moderate listing text and photos. Reports are not shown publicly. Deleting your account removes your report details and block records.
You can manage listings, notification preferences, passwords, and connected sign-in methods through your account. You can request permanent account deletion on the website or in the iPhone app. Eligible requests are processed within 24 hours; unresolved items or payouts must be settled first. Deletion removes contact details, listing photos, and sign-in credentials. Event accounting and settlement records retain deidentified references, dates, and amounts.
